Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam via ZEE5
Launch creative for the OTT release.
The brief
“Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam” is a Zindagi Original for ZEE5 — a first-of-its-kind South Asian desi-noir series told from the point of view of its “femme fatales” rather than the men around them. The key art needed to sell an ensemble of women leads as equally central to the story, in a genre (murder, deceit, dark comedy) that Indian streaming posters rarely attempt.
The constraint
A true ensemble cast with no single lead to build a poster around, a tone that had to read as darkly funny and noir at once rather than a straight thriller, and a bilingual title treatment (Hindi “कातिल हसीनाओं के नाम” alongside the English “Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam”) that had to hold up at poster scale.
What I did
Designed two distinct poster directions: an illustrated grayscale-and-red “danger” key art built around a Mughal-arch motif with the full ensemble weighted equally, and a graphic-novel “torn paper” streaming banner using halftone red and hand-drawn city rooftops to carry the noir tone. Built out the matching pitch-deck pages — synopsis, tone, cast — to support the ZEE5/Zindagi launch.
The result
Launch creative for the OTT release, premiering 25 December on ZEE5 Premium, with an ensemble-first visual identity distinct from ZEE5’s typical single-hero key art.
